WHY IS IT BETTER?

The federal government provides reporting forms, but offers no assistance in gathering, managing, or compiling the requested data. Parrascope not only generates the report, it makes collecting the required information as effortless as possible.

Parrascope allows states to centrally manage all federal awards and state projects with direct input from sub-recipients and vendors. It also collects vital award and accounting information from state software systems to further automate report management. The collected data is continuously aggregated to meet the current standards for quarterly ARRA reporting.

Following a multi-level review, generates an XML reporting file for FederalReporting.gov. This standardizes the reporting process, allows states ot report for sub-recipients, and reduces the workload of all parties.

A WEB BASED PLATFORM IS ESSENTIAL

A web based platform centralizes reporting activity in one location and gives members the freedom to securely access the system from any internet connection. It also enables vendors and sub-recipients to participate in the reporting process with minimal set up.

Unlike traditional software, updates to Parrascope are available to all users upon login, with no installation necessary. This ensures that all members are using the most current version of the application, compliant with the most recent reporting guidelines.

Since changes to the reporting criteria are expected and inevitable, Parrascope was designed to react quickly to new requirements. Fields can be easily added or removed, and new calculations can be included with minimal effort. As FederalReporting.gov matures, Parrascope will upload reporting data directly using a secure connection.

Robust custom reporting tools and seach capabilities are available to all users to quickly locate data. All lists are exportable via .csv or excel.

TRANSPARENCY

Parrascope data can be made available for searching to the general public, at levels designated by the state, on separate servers provided by Level One.

COMMUNICATION TOOLS

In addition to automated notifications, Parrascope allows users to send messages to any user in their network, with the content on or off the record.

The Parrascope application and searchable databases are fully managed solutions. States incur no expenses to host, maintain, or update the system.

JOBS FTE CALCULATOR

Job data is entered by vendors and sub-recipients, and certified by the state. It standardizes and automates FTE calculation for simplified reporting.

AUTOMATIC CALCULATIONS

Accounting data is imported and all calculations are aggregated by the system to eliminate errors. Funding and expenditure data will now be easy to report.

AUDIT LOG OF ACTIVITY

All records contain an audit log that records all activity from creation to completion, and identifies date, time, member, user, and action taken.

EASIER REVIEW

Parrascope neatly organizes reviewable data on one page, and sends email notifications to users when records are ready for review.

DIVIDE WORKLOAD

Between vendors, sub-recipients, and all state users, the workload is evenly distributed for fast, efficient reporting. Messages even remind users of their role.

EXPANDABLE BEYOND ARRA

Parrascope is designed for use beyond ARRA. Updates will include a full grant management system with an RFP creation and vendor bid collection tool.
